An Online Art Fair

Shop, browse and interact with artists from the convenience and safety of your home at Autumn & Art, an annual event produced by Wichita Festivals, Inc. Due to concerns about large public gatherings, the traditionally alfresco fine art event will instead be presented online for three days, September 18–20. During festival hours, art enthusiasts can visit artists’ booths virtually to browse and buy the works for sale, and even talk with artists via video chat.

“One of the best things about attending an art fair is the chance to talk to artists about their work, their inspiration and process,” said Teri Mott, director of marketing and communication for WFI. “Autumn & Art will continue to be a great place to do that, and we are excited to see some of our favorite artists from past events.”

More than 50 artists will display original artworks in a variety of media including jewelry, glass, drawing, fiber art, ceramics, woodwork and more. In addition, attendees can enjoy entertainment, from music, dance and theater to artist demos and mixology tutorials, plus fun for kids.

“Everyone enjoys a good party, and we miss seeing everyones’ faces,” said Mott. The popular Autumn & Art Opening Night Patron Party has been transformed into a lovely, fun-filled package, delivered to your door. Complete with gourmet food from Ya Ya’s, Newport Grill and Bella Luna, the Patron Patio Party-in-a-Box is $100 per person. Also inside: your choice of wine or beer and spirits. Additional perks include the exclusive opportunity to shop online before the art fair is open to the public, as well as a limited edition mask, a poster from featured artist, M. Robinson, and other fun surprises. Order patron party boxes before 11 p.m. on Tuesday, September 15, and boxes will be delivered to your home between 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday.

“We are encouraging our patrons to gather for social distancing on the porch or in the backyard with their social ‘bubble,’ and eat, drink and enjoy their party packs together,” Mott said. “As a non-profit, Autumn & Art needs the support of the Wichita public now more than ever.”
