Enjoy the holidays at Bradley Fair

Written by Sara Garrison

The holiday season is upon us, making it the perfect time to venture outdoors and enjoy the holiday activities at Bradley Fair.

“There is always something fun happening during the holidays at Bradley Fair,” says marketing manager Abbey Wolfert. “It’s the perfect place to visit with family and friends during the holiday season. We truly have something for everyone.”

This year, Bradley Fair has a variety of events taking place to get you in the holiday spirit. Here are a few free, family-friendly favorites for all to enjoy.

Black Friday break

For the Black Friday power shoppers, Bradley Fair will have a Black Friday relief station offering complimentary refreshments and a place to pause during a long day of shopping. In-store events will also take place throughout the holiday season, especially during the day on Black Friday.

Tree Lighting Ceremony: Lights of Love

At 5 p.m. on Sunday, November 24, attend the magical Bradley Fair Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony and Lights of Love event that benefits Ronald McDonald House Charities Wichita. The event is free, but donations will be accepted for Ronald McDonald House Charities. Santa will also be available for photos.

“Our Tree Lighting ceremony has been a long-standing Wichita tradition for many families. The 30-foot tree is decked head-to-toe in lights and provides a picture-perfect backdrop,” says Wolfert. “We love the opportunity to partner with Ronald McDonald House Charities. During the ceremony, we will honor the Nisly family, who have spent time at our local Ronald McDonald House. Nora Nisly (2.5 years old) has the very important job of flipping the switch on the Bradley Fair Christmas Tree and officially kicking off the holiday season at Bradley Fair.”

Carriage rides

Starting Sunday, November 24, the popular holiday carriage rides will begin at Bradley Fair. The carriage rides will take place from 1 to 10 p.m. on November 24 and from 1 to 7 p.m. each of the following Sundays until Christmas. About 6,000 individuals enjoy the holiday carriage rides each holiday season at Bradley Fair.

“There’s a magical feeling that comes alongside the sound of horse hooves and jingle bells, highlighted by miles of holiday lights,” says Wolfert.

With over 48 stores and 13 restaurants, Bradley Fair offers a fantastic mix of local, regional and national stores and restaurants for all individuals to enjoy. For the latest listing of holiday promotions and events at Bradley Fair, follow them on Facebook and Instagram or visit bradleyfair.com.
